Off Track

I get very frustrated with myself.

For two weeks running, I had good results.  Then....

for some reason I allow myself to let it go.  Why?

I have not been tracking what I eat....which I know keeps me on track.

I have not been exercising.....which I know I need to do.

I have been eating things I shouldn't......which I know leads to eating more...and more.

I have been allowing those things to cloud my mind....which I know gets me even further off track.

Then I get frustrated.

Then I get disappointed in myself.

Then it perpetuates the issues.

What do you do to stay focused and get yourself back up when you fall?  I could use some help.

  1. Self sabotage.

It usually indicates you cannot belief you are able to achieve, so you subconsiously "stuff it up".

For me, to return to focused, I need to visualise what I want, I need to be able to FEEL what I want to feel, as to why I am doing all this.

Maybe revisit the WHY's behind your goals?

  2. I post my daily goals on my blog and at the end of the day I report. It makes me feel like I have someone to report to. It works for me. :)

  3. I used to be like you. But over the last 3 years I have lost 3 members of my family. One a year. Two to Cancer. I'm doing this mainly to get healthy so that I don't go the same way.

When I slip I just write it off as one bad day. Start afresh the next. Like you say, write down EVERYTHING that passes my lips, I do this online so that I am accountable same as Ana.

Remember also that you aren't doing this alone. We are all there, all struggling with the same issues daily. If you fall and you need the support we are all here with you :)
